I have been bi-lingual from an early age. I went to school in Germany and England, studied in Great Britain and Ireland and worked as a lawyer and translator in Germany and England.

After studying law in England, I was called to the Bar by Lincoln's Inn in 2002, and have since worked as a lawyer in Germany and England.

I am not only very familiar with legal terminology but also with its meaning. I have done numerous translations of legal documents for various law firms, universities, other translation agencies and private clients. I have also qualified as a business translator (Wirtschaftsübersetzer) with the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), and hold a Diploma in Arbitration from University College Dublin.

From 2008 to 2013 I was involved in developing and teaching an MA in Legal Translation at City University, London, and since then have held numerous seminars on legal translation and legal English.

I offer high-quality legal translations, as well as professional training for translators and lawyers.

I am a Chartered Linguist and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, as well as a member of the German professional translators' association BDÜ.
