About Me
I am a German state-certified translator and interpreter for the English language. After finishing grammar school in 2001, I attended the Institute for Foreign Languages and Background Studies at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg for three years, completing my training at the end of 2004.
From February 2005 to February 2008 I worked as a localisation tester for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe in Liverpool, where I proofread video games for PlayStation®2, PlayStation®Portable and PlayStation®3 while playing them. This has helped me to develop a keen eye for all kinds of text errors, be it grammar, spelling or mistranslation.
In 2008 I started working as a freelance translator full-time, specializing in video games due to my work experience as a localisation tester.
