I have been working as a freelance translator since August 2009, having graduated with a degree in Modern Languages (2:1) from the University of Sheffield.
I translate from German and French into English using CAT tools such as TRADOS Studio, memoQ and Across.
As a freelance translator, I have worked on many business, technical, medical and legal documents, as well as websites, including sole responsability for the translation of the website of Griesson de Beukelaer, one of Germany's biggest biscuit producers (approx. 40,000 words). I have also recently completed a large proofreading project for the University of Leipzig. The project consisted of academic articles concerning competition law, which were written in English (approx. 135,000 words).
I take pride in providing a reliable service and producing quality work while adhering to strict deadlines. |
