After completing a BSc in Microbiology at Imperial College London, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for three years. I have specialised in medical translation since 2011 and have translated an estimated 12 million words in the field.

In terms of CAT tools, I own Trados Studio 2024 and Wordfast Pro and am also familiar with Phrase, XTM and Smartcat.

My work includes medical journal articles, case reports, medical reports, informed consent forms (ICFs), prescribing information (SPCs/PILs), SAE forms, patient- and specialist-facing information, questionnaires, presentations, video subtitles, interview and survey transcripts, marketing materials and clinical trial documentation.

Areas of specialisation include infectious diseases, vaccines, inflammatory diseases/rheumatology, oncology, cardiology, haematology, dermatology, immunology, asthma/allergies, gastroenterology, immunotherapy and biologics, pain management, endocrinology (mainly diabetes), anaesthesia, women’s health, epidemiology and veterinary medicine.
