Lodging in Canary Islands and/or travel advice

Location: Las Palmas/Tenerife etc.
Description: I am going to Canary Islands this November (19th-29th).
And, I am looking for an apartment or other type of lodging.
Any travel advice would be much appretiated, too. I have never been there.
Am planning to rent a bicycle and travel around the island(s).
