yellow brick road

The "yellow brick road" is a reference to "The Wizard of Oz". Dorothy and her friends journey down the road in search of the wizard... hoping he can help them fulfill their wishes.
Dorothy wants to go home to Kansas, the Scarecrow wants a brain, the Tin Man wants a human heart, the Lion doesn't want to be cowardly anymore....
So, basically, the "yellow brick road" is an enchanted road, a road to change....
It has been translated with "Straße zum Erfolg".
Would you agree? Or are there other/better options?

Be careful
My initial reaction is that it is often used ironically and shouldn't be taken at face value. The question is whether this irony is meant in the English text. If not - in which case it is a bad choice of wording in my opinion - I'd go with "Straße zum Erfolg".

From Wikipedia:
As a result of the interpretation of the yellow-brick road as the road "to Oz", yellow brick road has also become a stock phrase referring to a path which leads to a life of fantasy and carefreeness. Phrases referring to the "yellow brick road" are sometimes perceived as hopelessly idiomatic by non-native English speakers.
