Finance (general)
Hello,
This is for an instructional text on finance from Spanish (Spain) into English (US).
RLN I would take as Net Liquid Assets (NLA), but I'm unsure about NOF.
Thanks!

: Just say working capital. Why? Because working capital is a requirement//The expression in Spanish submitted by Asker is a pleonasm in English.

Asker wanted: "necesidades operativas de financiación" Acronym is "WCR" in English.//Why bother agree, if you are going to argue? It is not a pleonasm; term is an extension of WCR. Remove remarks altogether! Asker determines what is right in context

working capital loans
The companies whose net receipts are below working capital must borrow money to meet all their short term outlays. Those borrowings are called working capital loans.
As a result, one can say that working capital = working capital loans plus net receipts. This identity is the one presented by Asker (El FM puede dividirse en dos componentes: las necesidades operativas de financiación (NOF) y los recursos líquidos netos (RLN))
Below is a definition of working capital loan and 'fondo de maniobra'.
What Is a Working Capital Loan?
A working capital loan is a loan that is taken to finance a company's everyday operations. These loans are not used to buy long-term assets or investments and are, instead, used to provide the working capital that covers a company's short-term operational needs.
Those needs can include costs such as payroll, rent, and debt payments. In this way, working capital loans are simply corporate debt borrowings that are used by a company to finance its daily operations.

You don't understand! Working capital is a requirement. The working capital loans are what companies that don't meet working capital need.//What Asker said in Spanish is what they call working capital loans in corporate finance; that's why I quoted Asker.

Translating is not following the letter of a text. Instead, it is about understanding a text in an original language and expressing it in a target language. You did the same by using working capital. So why refuse working capital loans?

That expression in Spanish is a concept of corporate finance. It means that any company that cannot meet working capital needs to borrow funds/loans to meet working capital.
Those funds/ loans are called working capital loans in corporate finance.
