Here's a tricky one...

Does 'brist i garanti' in this context refer to 'breach of covenant'.

Here's the context. 'Köparen skall ej ha rätt att göra påföljd gällande om Köparen inte skriftligen
reklamerar brist i garanti eller på grund eller kontraktsbrott'

Oh, that wasn't clear from the sentence provided. Just curious, so how are you translating "kontraktsbrott" then?

Thanks everyone for your input. With hindsight I think breach of covenant was appropriate for this text but as I was not 100% sure I went with the greyer insufficient guarantee and damn the torpedos. Warranty is not correct for this context. This was a strange document, a share transfer agreement about a property transaction.
