block let(s)/let(s) as a block
See the link for the example sentence. I'm supposing that "block let" could be used as a verb based on the usage (as a noun) there. The alternative "let as block" would also work.
Example sentence:
Pegasus can provide GUARANTEED RENTAL SCHEMES on Individual properties and various other options as well as complete residential block lets and management.

Comment: "Still not entirely satisfied there isn't a better term for 'wholesale' rental of a group of properties for subletting.
(Andrei's suggestion of 'rental of the block of flats' isn't wrong, is simply doesn't make it clear that this is a rental of a group of flats.)"

rental of the block of flats
See no problem here.Förhyra is the formal version of hyra. And block is a block.
