Je suis une narratrice et traductrice bilingue (anglais/français).
Après de très amusantes études au Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique de Québec, j'ai travaillé sur scène et à la télévision. Tout en continuant à jouer au théâtre, petit à petit, mon travail de narratrice bilingue a pris le devant de la scène. Lors de mes sessions en studio, j'ai souvent dû corriger des différences de sens entre la version française et anglaise d’un même texte ou même des erreurs grammaticales. Les clients ont vite compris que ce serait plus simple de me faire traduire leurs textes directement. Heureux de mon travail, ils m’ont demandé de traduire d'autres types de textes : correspondance, communiqués de presse, articles, discours, etc. J'ai même traduit une thèse de doctorat (vous pouvez dorénavant appeler ma cliente « Docteur »).
Mon travail est très minutieux et adapté au médium: imprimé, film ou audio. Quand je travaille pour un client, ma motivation est toujours de livrer la meilleure traduction, celle qui rendra le ton, la couleur et surtout, le sens du texte original. Je ne coupe jamais les coins ronds et je ne me contente jamais d'approximations. Ma tranquillité d'esprit en dépend!

I am a bilingual narrator and translator (English / French).
After spending three great years studying acting at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique of Quebec, I worked on stage and on television. While continuing to act, little by little, my work as a bilingual narrator slowly took centre stage. During my studio sessions, I often had to correct differences in meaning between the French and English versions of the same text and even grammatical errors. Clients quickly realized that it would be simpler to have their texts translated directly. Happy with my work, they also asked me to translate other types of texts: correspondence, press releases, articles, speeches, etc. I even translated a PhD thesis (you can now call my client "Doctor").
My work is very meticulous and adapted to the medium: print, film or audio. When I work for a client, my motivation is always to deliver the best translation, the one that will convey the tone, the colour and above all the meaning of the original text. I never cut corners and I am never content with approximations. My peace of mind depends on it!
