This was an excellent powwow indeed! I estimate that total attendance was around 30 translators and interpreters, with a wide range of language combinations and subject specialisms. We were particularly pleased to welcome the contingent of students from Heriot Watt University.
Everyone seemed to agree that Hemma was an excellent choice of venue (thanks Becky), and even the rain couldn't keep people away, nor dampen our spirits.
The evening started at 7.00pm, and the final stragglers left The Hive nightclub at about 2.30am.
A merry time was had, and we're now looking forward to the Christmas powwow!
Please feel free to look at and download the photos you like. There are too many to be put on the proz.com website, so I uploaded them on my Dropbox space. They will be available till the end of November so that everyone can have time to download the ones they wish.
