Report from  Oliver Walter
This was the sixth London powwow that I have organised, all of them at the King & Queen pub (in "Fitzrovia"), and 15 Prozians came. There was a rugby match showing on the TV downstairs; our powwow was upstairs, where we were grateful that it was quiet. The 15 participants (about 40% of those who had shown interest, which is a typical proportion) had, in total, 18 native languages: 1 each for Latvian, German, Ukrainian, Welsh, French, Dutch and Slovak, 2 each for Italian, Russian and Polish, and 5 English). We discussed a number of topics such as TM software, problems caused by Google Translate, language dialects, and 2 or 3 more. We started with 2 tables end to end, as you can see in one of Oksana's photos. As more people came we added another table - you can see Barry (in the red pullover) at the end of the 3rd table in another photo, and I'm on the right, opposite Anna in the striped pullover. Once or twice during the discussions there were moments of silence, but the atmosphere was good and we resumed talking, with the last 4 or 5 of us leaving a few minutes after 6 pm. Since we all donated one pound as requested by the pub manager, the Macmillan Cancer charity has benefited by 15 pounds from this powwow.
