Indeed, that reminded me: many larger agencies are developing their own CAT tools these days, mostly web-based systems. Can't remember now, but a few I'm working for currently have mentioned them in their communications. Will have a look in my email and post here if I find any of interest. I am not sure if that fits to your definition, but OmegaT supports team projects via Git or SVN (a local copy of OmegaT, however, must be present). | | | Michael Beijer Vereinigtes Königreich Local time: 08:01 Mitglied (2009) Niederländisch > Englisch + ... Hello! I came across your list in the quest for a tool that I could use in my iPad while on the move in case anything came up. I tried Wordfast and found ipthe web based version to work well on the iPad Pro but for some reason ( maybe there's something I'm not doing) I can't add any terms to my TM or Glossary as they always show as "read only", maybe an iPad problem? Not sure. | | | DZiW (X) Ukraine Englisch > Russisch + ...
Michael, how about the logos and interface previews, or even requirements/datasheets, so one could get the idea? (perhaps, an external resource) Mara, did you properly set up TM&Glossaries? WF Anywhere, as any web-based application, works fine with most modern HTML5/JAVA-enabled browsers, including Safari. Did you try other browsers? | |

Did you try other browsers? I might have not done it properly but i did take some time looking into the options and found no way to "activate" them so i moved on to trying other web based CAT tools such as the Web SDL Trados and I think that it's simply that the trial versions do not offer this option because this one too had the TM editing blocked. However they at least state that this is during the trial version. I was looking into the possibility of using MemoQ on the ipad too but I don't think it's at all possible. Or at least not without the prior installation and account setting on a Windows or Mac computer but since I am away from my desktop I have not been able to test that theory. I would love to hear from anyone who's tried this. | | | Different approach | Jun 20, 2017 |

And even better, everything stays on my machine under my control. Teamviewer gives you freedom. I was using SDL Studio 2015 on my Android smartphone – but who really wants to do it. Teamviewer is available for all kind of devices. Check it out, it might be a solution for you. | | | Vom Thema belegte Seiten: < [1 2] | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Making a comprehensive list of ALL online CAT tools currently available (pls help)!
