Does anybody know an efficient way to find out if a book is already translated? Can this be done by means of ISBN for example? Any good search site for this?

Index Translationum Jul 20, 2003

The Unesco has a database called Index Translationum, which has its limits (starts in 1979 and is very slowly updated), but is rather useful. Otherwise you must search in the national databases, where available (http://www.mcu.es/bases/spa/isbn/ISBN.html) or National Libraries. Amazon is sometimes worth the look, for it's rather fast.
