As a translator I have worked in several fields over the past 12 years, including the arts, research, business, technical translations, IT, literature, current affairs, business and education.

Over the past 10 years I have, however, almost exclusively dedicated myself to financial translations . My areas of expertise in this sector are equity and bond markets, derivatives, fund prospectuses, general marketing materials in investment banking, fund reports, company reports, and rating agency reports.

My qualifications are: 1st class MA in German and English Literature and Linguistics from the University of Regensburg / Germany, and a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages from the University of York. I have also considerable experience in language education, both in higher and secondary education.
As a native speaker of German I predominantly translate into German as the target language, but I have also, in the past, accepted and successfully completed translation work into English.
