Anja Schuck has a law degree from the Free University of Berlin (Germany) with specialization in public law. She is fully qualified as an attorney in both Germany and Italy.

She has worked as an attorney in several law firms in Berlin concentrating in the field of civil and administrative law.

She subsequently worked in a law firm in the United States permitting her to gain an understanding of American law and practice as well as perfecting her command of the English language which she has been studying for many years.

She also worked as a researcher, translator and interpreter in the area of comparative constitutional law at the Constitutional Court in Rome.

Ms. Schuck maintains an active practice in the areas of international contract law and copyright and related rights law on behalf of various multinational associations and companies.

She is fully conversant in German (mother tongue), Italian (the language of the country where she lives and works) and English, which she has been studying for many years and improved upon thanks to her collaboration with American law firms and intensive “immersion” language programs in the United States.

She is a certified translator (staatlich geprüfte Übersetzerin) German-Italian and a court appointed expert at Italian courts and has many years of experience in the field of legal and economic translation and interpretation.

Compiuti gli studi di giurisprudenza presso la Freie Universität Berlin (Germania), ha conseguito l’abilitazione alla professione di avvocato in Germania e successivamente in Italia.

Ha esercitato l’attività legale in vari studi a Berlino consolidando la sua esperienza e professionalità in ambito civile e amministrativo.

Ha successivamente lavorato per lunghi periodi in studi legali negli Stati Uniti dove ha potuto consolidare la lingua inglese che ha studiato sin dai primi anni di età.

Ha lavorato come ricercatrice e traduttrice nel campo del diritto costituzionale comparato presso la Corte Costituzionale Italiana a Roma.

Ha avuto molteplici esperienze professionali nel campo della contrattualistica internazionale e del diritto di proprietà intellettuale e industriale presso importanti associazioni ed aziende multinazionali.

Parla professionalmente la lingua tedesca (lingua madre), la lingua italiana (la lingua del territorio in cui vive ed esercita la sua attività) e la lingua inglese (esercitata professionalmente per anni).

E’ traduttrice certificata (staatlich geprüfte Übersetzerin) tedesco-italiano e Consulente tecnico d’ufficio (C.T.U.) presso i Tribunali italiani. Dispone di una lunga esperienza nel settore delle traduzioni legali, giuridiche e commerciali.

Sie war als Rechtsanwältin in mehreren Rechtsanwaltskanzleien in Berlin tätig und hat auf diese Weise ihre Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Zivil- und Verwaltungsrecht konsolidiert.

Anschließend arbeitete sie in einer Anwaltskanzlei in den Vereinigten Staaten, wo sie neben juristischen Aspekten auch die englische Sprache, die sie seit ihrer Kindheit studierte, vertiefte.

Sie arbeitete als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und Übersetzerin im Bereich Vergleichendes Verfassungsrecht am italienischen Verfassungsgericht in Rom.

Sie verfügt über vielseitige Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Internationales Vertrags- und Urheberrecht in Verbänden und Unternehmen.

Sie spricht die Sprachen Deutsch (Muttersprache), Italienisch (die Sprache des Landes, in dem sie lebt und arbeitet) sowie Englisch (sowohl durch berufliche als auch Sprachaufenthalte konsolidiert).

Sie ist gerichtlich bestellte Sachverständige bei den italienischen Gerichten und verfügt über langjährige Erfahrungen als Übersetzerin und Dolmetscherin in den Bereichen Recht und Wirtschaft.
