I am a sworn translator in the Netherlands and in Luxembourg and a certified interpreter at the Court of Appeal in Paris. In addition, I am a Chartered Linguist and full member (MCIL CL) for English, French and Dutch of the Chartered Institute of Linguists in the UK.
My services as an interpreter consist, amongst others, of assisting speakers of Dutch in the signing of a notarial deed. If a party involved in the signing of a notarial deed does not have a sufficient command of the French language, French law requires an interpreter to be present during the signing to translate the explanation of the notary. As a sworn interpreter, I co-sign the notarial deed.
My services as a translator consist mainly of the translation, revision, proofreading and editing of legal, financial and medical texts. I translate and adapt your texts, brochures, folders etc. directly for the Dutch and/or Belgium market. A part from my fields of specialisation, I focus on what language professionals like to call 'transcreation'. I render the meaning of your original text into a Dutch version (for NL or B) that doesn't read like a translation, yet preserves all aspects of the original message of the source text. Don't hesitate to contact me for further information.
