My first love was literature. For a decade, I was a publisher,  in charge of the edition and publication of over 30 titles. I have also translated about a dozen others so far. Some of them are included in my Goodreads author page. You may take a peek if interested:

As life brings about change, I ended up working in the international department of a Spanish medical company, and then another… my interest in medical translation grew, got training, and nowadays, I can safely say I have translated a few million words in the following specialties:

- Cardiology  (stents, catheters…)

- Cancer treatment (elastomeric pumps, special IV sets…)

- Other medical devices (pulmonary rehabilitation, dressings, other hospital disposables…)

- Dentistry

- Medical reports (E&A, Consultation reports, Clinical Research, Medical Essays, Regulatory, Forensic reports…) 

I am also proficient in music-related translations, including song lyrics, and translation and localization of games and apps, mostly educational ones. I also translate general legal texts (privacy policies, contracts, wills...).
