If you are looking for someone who knows very well the facets of the German language and if you need this person to translate or proofread a text in the field of:
I started learning German in a very early stage of my life (when I was 14). I attended for 4 years the Vocational School for Foreign Languages with the main focus the German Language.
That means I took a strong foundation of the language on which I built my German knowledge further at the University of Tirana, where I graduated in 2005 as a Translator and Interpreter of the German Language.
As a student at the university a got scholarships for summer courses and visited Germany often. Those days helped me to get to know the people and culture closely.
As I enjoy reading and learning, in 2009 I started my master studies in Magdeburg,Germany, where I got graduated in 2011 in "Peace and Conflict Studies".
In the last 16 years I have been working in different projects in different NGOs and I have been translating a large diversity of materials, from court decisions to prisoner letters, from car parts to Christian books.
You and me, we know that translating is more than finding the corresponding word in the target language. When translating I feel the enormous responsibility to convey the content in the best possible way, without deriving from the original and at the same time always keeping in mind the reader.
You need a detail-oriented people to make sure the client is satisfied. I keep myself always on track and I’m aware of the interplay between two cultures as well as languages.
I like to go the extra mile for my clients, and I enjoy a work done when I know I helped someone to achieve his or her goal.
