I am a native German speaker and studied 'Language, Culture, Translation' (German, English, French, Italian) at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (FTSK Germersheim) and ‘Moving Cultures – Transcultural Encounters’, a three language Master’s degree programme (German, English and French) with a focus on Cultural and Literary Studies, World Literature, Translation, Migration, Postcolonial Theory and Transcultural (English) Studies, at Goethe University Frankfurt. In 2016 I spent two months in Uganda where I worked as an administrative intern on the Kampala International Theatre Festival. After my graduation from university (in winter 2017), I did a three-month internship at a translation company in the UK, where I gained real life experience in translation and proofreading, learned a lot about the industry, CAT tools and project management, and improved my skills. As I also lived and worked several months in different parts of France, I am also very familiar with the French language and culture. During my studies I developed strong research skills which help me a lot to familiarize myself with new topics and create elaborate glossaries. I am a young but very committed translator with a special focus on marketing texts that require research as well as creativity.
