Typische Merkmale sind eingeschobene Ärmel, häufig verdeckte Knopfleiste, im Rücken eine Passe mit anschließender langer Kellerfalte, paspelierte Knopflöcher und rustikale Knöpfe aus Horn. Die ursprüngliche Farbe ist grün. Der Stoff hat häufig eine Strichausrüstung und ist dadurch wetterfest.
Übersetzung - Tschechisch Lodenový kabát nese svůj název podle odolné tkaniny z mykané příze. Typickými znaky jsou vsazené rukávy, často skrytá knoflíková lišta, na zadním díle sedlo s navazujícím dlouhým hlubokým skladem, lemované knoflíkové dírky a rustikální knoflíky z rohoviny.
