However, this does not mean that I limit myself to technical translations. On the contrary, I regard my work on various fields of expertise, including historical texts, websites, fitness books or audiobooks, to name a few, an asset to maintain a broad mindset and to stay flexible in the use of both working languages.

Subtitling is another focus field, which I started in 2017. Since then, I created and translated subtitles for feature films, shorts, documentaries, interviews, advertisements and educational videos. Here, a perfect translation does not only include the transfer of tone, meaning and humour, but also perfect timing and readability, and with my linguistic and technical skills, I can guarantee all of this.

With a keen eye for orthography, proofreading and editing is also one of my business fields.

Translation is more than just transferring words into another language. For me, translating also means learning about the products, services and stories on which I work, so I regard every single job as an opportunity to learn something new while translating the originals. This is an aspect I regard as highly important, as an honest interest in the topic helps to find the perfect translation.
