I have obtained and *kept* 11 clients.

Most of my new clients now come from ProZ.com, and I have to say that fine-tuning my profile has generated some pretty good "matches" (clients that are willing to pay my rates for specific subject areas). I found ProZ.com quite useful initially (the term search, KudoZ, the glossaries, etc.), but it really came into its own when I became a paying member. This past year has been great. I woke up one morning deciding to go back to translating full time but I was not 100% sure that my decision was the right one.
