Most of my clients don’t require speed (I’m not fond of rush jobs and my long-standing customers know that), but when they very occasionally do, they have been willing to pay a higher rate (30 to 50%). I’ve been working with the same client base for a long while and what they care about is commitment to quality and deadline. I have been doing all I can to keep them happy… | | | False comparison | Jun 18, 2022 |
When they're in a hurry, they'll pay whatever it takes.
When they aren't in a hurry, they might think about cost.
How many customers are seriously going to delay a conference or a product launch or an annual report or even a press release so they can save money on the translation? | | | neilmac Spanien Local time: 21:08 Spanisch > Englisch + ...
Sometimes, some of my clients may be in a hurry, so the deadline may be short. However, most of them know that I work with other clients as well, so they usually try not to ask for unrealistic delivery times. As for cost, some of them are more sensitive than others. | |

I absolutely agree with this and it's what I tell my clients, too, partly to explain why I never accept a job for delivery the same day.
Like others here, I have clients who are mainly interested in high quality work - everything else is secondary. | | | Gennady Lapardin Russische Föderation Local time: 23:08 Italienisch > Russisch + ...
