Auto-propagate for all docs in a project not working

Right,

auto-propagate works in the same document for me, but not in a project i.e. when I translate 2 out of 20 docs with the glossary first (which obviously has the terms that get translated throughout) am I wrong in assuming that it should recognise those in the newly opened remaining 18 documents?

What am I doing wrong?
