Studio 2014 simply stopped, working, program won't even open

Hello,

my Studio 2014 simply stopped working today, the program won't even open and there's no error message, simply nothing happens when I try to open it. I've restarted the computer many times, didn't help.

The most bizarre thing is that, after that, I downloaded Studio 2015 and installed it, installation ran ok, but then it won't open either (!) Exactly the same thing happens when I try to open it: nothing, no error message.

Has that happened to anyone ... See more

The most bizarre thing is that, after that, I downloaded Studio 2015 and installed it, installation ran ok, but then it won't open either (!) Exactly the same thing happens when I try to open it: nothing, no error message.

Has that happened to anyone else? Do you have any idea what I could to do fix this? I have no clue and I'm kind of desperate because I have a job to do this weekend.

Studio 2015 activation. Oct 6, 2015

Please accept my apologies for the late reply

I can see that you are using the subscription based 2014 Starter version, which has expired.
Please log in to your account and process the upgrade to Studio 2015- a new license code will then be released (mixture of letters and digits)
Once you have Studio 2015 installed, simply copy and paste the new activation code when requested to activate 2015.

it was not a license problem, it was something wrong with the software itself.
I managed to find a temporary solution on my own after hours of uninstalling, re-installing and deleting old files. It seems the Projects folder was corrupted somehow, and that was causing the program not to open.
Now I can only open Studio by clicking on a project file, it still won't open when I just click on the program's shortcut, but it works anyway so whatever.
