I don't know what happened, but while I was translating 2 files that were almost identical, I have suddenly realized that my Trados doesn't recognize the 100% matches anymore. I had to translate the second file as if my TM didn't recognize the matches.
It has never occurred to me, and I'm sure I didn't change any settings. Can you please help me?
Thanks!

Check Update under Project Settings
Feb 9, 2016
Click project settings and make sure that a project TM is selected. If so, make sure that "Update" is checked at the far right (it can sometimes run off the right edge of the screen). This is the most iikely cause of your problem.

Open both files together

Yes, check that your TM (not the "Project TM" as Rudolf said, but the "main TM") is checked for update. Run the batch task "Update main TM" for the first document you translated in order to make sure that all confirmed segments get written to your TM.
And a useful tip for future projects of this type: if you need to translate two documents in a project where you expect to find similar content, open both files at once. In this way, matching sentences will automatically be propagated (auto-propagated) throughout both documents.
To do this, select both files in the "Files" view, then right-click and select "Open for translation".
