There might be more elegant translations. Analisa - have a look at the text. I can't be sure from what I read, but endometriosis is infamous for spreading into all kind of locations - my best guess is that is what's meant here.

: This is obviously what the writer had inmind when he created the (unusual) German expression. I don't think it is about endometriosis at all.
