sequential sera
I googled this term with ELISA and it turned up quite a few hits (> 2,000)
Additionally, a study of sequential sera from 3 patients with acute Ad infection disclosed seroconversion using all three methods.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2541155
When examining the sequential sera, some of the sera that were positive by virus neutralisation were negative by ELISA and vice versa.

sera (siehe unten)
Beim googeln habe ich in der englischen Übersetzung immer nur "sera" für "Verlaufsseren" gefunden. Wenn es genauer beschrieben werden soll, würde ich je nach Kontext vielleicht schreiben:
"Sera in the course of infection / ... in the clinical course / ...of the immune response"
"Sera in the course of infection / ... in the clinical course / ...of the immune response"

: Verlauf - follow up.//Here you go: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez - and search is restricte to "follow up study" in title only - so there are far more hits;)

That's what I thought too, but couldn't come up with any references in support. Thank you, Blaess.
