Raise your rates so you only have to translate a few hours a day and can spend time honing your skills (writing a blog is a great way to hone your writing and a bunch of other skills, too).

I have an old, old, Livejournal, which I still update with book reviews, translation musings, quick translations from books I am currently reading and, oh yes, giant animated robots.

I started it in 2007 to keep in touch with some friends living abroad and keep updating it every now and then - not very frequently, but I like it that way.

...and also some not so excellent ones.
Depending on your personal interests, obviously some blogs will seem to be a waste of time and others an excellent place to stop by from time to time for inspiration, widening your knowledge or a good laugh.
