I am a bilingual translator with the language
combination German - English. I have 7 years of translating experience working
with a diverse variety of clients and agencies. I have a First-Class Bachelor
of Arts Degree in German Studies with a distinction in spoken German and am
passionate about both languages as a result of my German family background and having
lived here in the UK for most of my life. I strive to provide high quality,
fluent and accurate translations for a wide range of written texts and specialise
in the fields of business, marketing and tourism.

September 1997
- June 2001: Undergraduate in German Studies with courses taken in
translation skills. As part of my degree, I spent a year in Germany where I
studied at Tübingen University and immersed myself in German language, culture
and politics.

Career in Education:

2005-July 2016: Teaching Assistant and English as an Additional Language
Coordinator, Southwold Primary School and Early Years Centre, Nottingham.
Planning and delivery of language lessons for children with English as an
Additional language from year 1 to year 6.
