Across very slow moving between segments

I am translating a document in Across, but it takes forever to move between segments. It seems that once I select the next segment, the entire system freezes (i.e. cannot see or move cursor) for a few seconds, and then it says "(Not Responding)" at the top for another few seconds (or longer) before it moves on to the next segment. It can take up to 20-30 seconds to change between segments, which is very frustrating.

There is an update f available on Across' web site. I would try this first. It might rectify some irregularities of the Across installation.

if installing new version doesn't help, I would suggest you to contact Across Support.
Your report could help to improve application.
