Across installation problem - Windows required

After a clean system installation I cannot install the free Across version back on my windows 7 64b computer - the installer displays a message saying that in order to install this software I need to have this and that version of Windows. I do have what is necessary and still - can't get past this message.

Hi,
I am going crazy with Across installation and there is no help out there, nor from Across itself, so I try this forum now.
Did you manage to install Across on your system? What were your problems?
