Hi everyone,

I could really do with some well informed advice.

Hi everyone,

I could really do with some well informed advice.
I would like to work with the police, prison service, and as a court interpreter.
I have had several years experience in community interpreting, but now there is no use playing an ostrich any more and I need to get myself on the NRPSI register.

And here's my question: what makes more sense, taking the MET Police Test (after possibly attending a few 1 day courses) or a 9 months Diploma in PSI course?

I would be really interested in hearing opinions from people who have had experience in tackling the same dilemmas.

Thank you very much in advance for any responses.
