Challenges for Interpreters and Translators Arising from Globalisation



From September 11 to 13, 2009, the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ) is hosting an international conference entitled "Interpreting the Future - Challenges for Interpreters and Translators Arising from Globalisation". Interpreters and translators will be meeting with representatives of national and international organisations and public authorities, as well as experts in the fields of business, industry and education, to discuss current and future challenges facing the profession. The conference programme also includes a job exchange and trade exhibition.


The BDÜ invites translation and interpreting experts, product and service providers to contribute to the international conference "Interpreting the Future", which is to take place in September 2009. The deadline for proposals is 15.11.2008. ▲ Collapse
