Hi! I wonder how I can provide some temporary licenses for memoQ to the translators I want to outsource job to.
First, should I own some server edition for that (I have memoQ Translator Pro, is it possible to upgrade)?
Second, what would be the cost for providing such a license to a translator?
Thanks in advance. | | | Carl Carter Deutschland Local time: 18:36 Deutsch > Englisch + ... Ask the sales dept at Kilgray | Feb 8, 2013 |
Hi Vitaly,
I believe this is exactly what memoQ server is for. That package comes with a number of mobile licences. To find out more about it, go to http://kilgray.com/products/memoq-server, for example. You certainly can't use your own licence to do what you want to do as that's user-specific.
If I were you, I'd contact Sales at Kilgray and get them to make you an offer for a suitable package. Since the server packages contain several mobile licences, the cost will (obviously) be considerably higher than for a freelance's own licence.
Hope these pointers help.
Regards

My employer purchased the server edition recently so I know
As far as I could tell, each mobile license costs the same as a regular freelancer's license, but the server itself costs a good sum.
