Importing partially translated Excel file in MemoQ

Dear fellow translators,

I downloaded MemoQ to test it and it seems quite nice.

I have a question though. One of my client sends me partially translated files (recurrent lines are already translated).
Let's says that I have the source text in column D and the translation in column F, is there a way to import and align both columns? I tried to import with "ranges" but it seems there's no way to tell the software which range is the source text and which range is the... See more

Alignment = LiveDocs Feb 11, 2013

> LiveDocs
> Create/use new
> Add alignment pairs
> Add source document as (import the source range only)
> Add target document as (import the target range only)
> Tick "Use terms as anchors"
> OK

The LiveDocs corpora will function as a "side" TM (you can also export your alignment to your main TM).
