The problem has started yesterday, when I have started receiving multiple emails regarding the same posting in Terms Help.
When my answer is awarded with Kudoz points, I receive a message for each answer posted.
For example, if the question had received 4 answers, I receive 5 congratulations mails.
At the same time, it seems that the other contributors do not receive any more the message saying

Yes, the same thing is happening to me!
Also, the links in the \'congratulations\' messages are not valid, and the title of the message does not appear - just empty brackets!

I am also getting multiple e-mail messages (congratulations); on the other hand, I have not received any notifications of new Terms questions for the last 48 hours or so, even though there are many new postings on the page.

One problem that persists though is that Kudoz notifications of open questions come late by several days. And congratulatory notifications come in multiple e-mails. I\'ve been deleting messages in my inbox all day.

The multiple emails problem has been solved but the messages that I receive are not as before.
I do not receive any more the messages when somebody\'s else answer is chosen.

Gianfranco, that problem seems to have been resolved as well. The message may come a max. of a day late though or at least that\'s what I\'ve noticed since the weekend. The Kudoz part of the homepage is also back to the V3 version (i.e., you see only your language pairs).

DUPLICATE AND TRIPLICATE E-MAILS. This has been occuring since last week. But it is an INTERMITENT problem. I am absolutely SURE that it is the RED ALERT worm. NO NEED TO WORRY TOO MUCH. I just learned that the Code Red worm I & II only affects users of Windows NT & 2000. It is compulsory for large Websites (like Proz) to check if they are \"infected\". There is a programme \"Patch\" to solve it immediately. Providers and large users (with lists) are the most vulnerable people. PLEASE check Moderators of Proz. Easy, peasey to solve, according to Microsoft. Go to their site SUPPORT.

I must apologize for the email trouble we have been experiencing lately. Multiple emails and skipped emails are both results of an overloaded server.
We are now sending out over 100,000 emails per day. This number exceeded the capabilities of our production server, so we are in the process of upgraded to a more robust machine, and changing the mail methodology to prevent similar confusion in the future.
