Dear members,
Now you can track job postings matching your preferences in your RSS feed reader. Just click the orange button at http://www.proz.com/translation-jobs to get started (your feed will be based on your advanced search settings there). To see the complete job description and to quote, you will need to visit the full job page using the link in the feed item.
The feed contains the basic information about the job, including the link to the job, the job title and short description, and the job requirements (including language pairs and field of expertise). The feed updates once every five minutes.
You will notice that the URL for the feed contains your entity_id and a unique token that allows you to view job summaries that match your preferences without logging in. You cannot use this token to log in or to access any part of the site. Additionally, the token and feed does not contain any personally identifiable information about the subscriber.
You can subscribe using any news reader that you would like. If you encounter any encoding issues or have questions, comments or concerns, please contact site staff via a support request.
If you're interested in RSS feeds for public forums, see http://www.proz.com/topic/129628
KudoZ RSS feeds are also being evaluated.
Best regards,
Jon Peck

I think this would be even more useful for Kudoz (i.e. RSS feed adapted to personal settings).
Email notifications can be somewhat problematic (especially if you don't turn them off when you are away!), so is remembering to visit the page. RSS is convenient enough to "play" Kudoz from time to time, without being too "pushy"... | | | Textklick Local time: 01:02 Deutsch > Englisch + ... Targeted RSS makes so much sense and keeps the poor mail box lighter.
Apart from that, it's one 'klick' less when I'm online and something comes through comes through because - if I'm there - the little popup tells me at a glance whether I am interested or not.
I opted out of Kudoz mail notification, but this possibility could be useful to all.
Cheers

Chris and Jabberwock,
Thank you for your suggestions; feeds for KudoZ are being developed. I do not have a hard delivery date at this time, but I will say that I expect to have it ready for release in April.
Best regards,
Jon Peck

Hi everyone,
I, too, found it very much better than email notifcations, but it hasn't been updated since hours ago. The last tow jobs were posted at 00:45 and 03:13 but the feed is not yet updated!
Could anyone help?

Hello,
Is anyone familiar with the "RSS Feed Failed to Load" error message for the jobs page? I find my feed works really well for a while and then dies in a few days after showing an error like this. Thanks,

Entitling the RSS feed posts | Feb 23, 2010 |
Hello everyone,
First of all, thank you to the ProZ team for the effort in making things easier and adding new features.
I hope the following is a useful suggestion.

If you use that for SEO reasons, you could just leave it at the end.
Does it make sense?
Does anyone else have a similar issue?
Is this the right place for this suggestion?
Best regards!

This is a great idea, but I agree with Pedro - that the Proz.com classic job should be removed from the feed title. The feed itself already identifies what it is, so the individual items don't need to be identified. | | | Jon Peck Local time: 20:02 Englisch THEMENSTARTER Thank you for your feedback, changes queued | Feb 23, 2010 |

Look like Inoreader.com can't take this feed, even after i put login and password.
Inoreader note in adding subscription window: "Only Basic HTTP Authentication is supported."
Maybe that will give a clue. | | | Issue should now be resolved | Oct 13, 2015 |
Hello RiantHoff,
Thanks for reporting this. The problem with the job RSS feed has now been resolved. I have tested this with my own Feedly and everything appears to be working as it should.
I hope this helps but please let me know how everything goes.
