Do job postings *disappear* (rather than get closed)?

There was a Georgian job posting yesterday for P members only and this morning it miraculously disappeared from the database. The whole thing! I was just wondering if that happens very often. Usually, when the jobs "close" not disappear.???

This job did not "disappear"; the job ad was squashed by moderators as it turned out to be not a translation job.
