Confirmation of email sent to outsourcer

Hi all,
I have a simple question: how do you know if a potential client received your email? I had to write an email to the outsourcer for that job post, but didn't get any notifications that he did receive my email and can't find it anywhere on my account or in my inbox. I'm just worried he didn't get it at all!
