TM List appearance on one Mac

Have any other Mac users experienced the check boxes in TM List (under Active and Read Only) appearing as black rectangles? This is a minor cosmetic detail and there is no loss of functionality: one can still select the TM and see the result under TM Priority. Check boxes appear normally on the Windows 10 side of the same machine (2013 Macbook Pro) and on an older iMac. Currently using WFP 3.4.5 though the phenomenon is not new. Just interested to know if it is frequent.
