English term

empowering / disempowering

English to German Marketing Marketing
I know this term has been discussed before, but this case is a bit different. The text is all about how shop assistants should be enthusiastic about their work and when serving the client. The text is as follows:

What is the difference between an empowering and a disempowering state?

Examples of both types of states: e.g. happy is an empowering state, to be miserable is a disempowering state in work

Great client service can only be achieved if xz has teams of people who exercise empowering sates in the workplace.

I had ideas like "energiegebend" vs "energieraubend" or "motiviert" vs "demotiviert", but feel like it is not quite hitting the nail on the head.

motivierend / demotivierend

Es ist doch eher davon die Rede, welche Reaktion der Verkäufer beim Kunden auslöst. Also der Verkäufer hinterlässt beim Kunden einen motivierenden / demotivierenden Eindruck....
