MMUlr Mar 10, 2009: I second Anne: -> präpontine Zisterne, and yes, I am sure that this is (again!) from an audiotape; we have many examples of this type of mistake in reports. My idea for haltend is -> erhalten (in the sense of "abgrenzbar") - is this possible?
Anne Schulz Mar 10, 2009: Yes, likely an audiotape, but "haltend" just does not make sense. It might be another "entfaltet", but that is unusual and far away from the letters. Better ask the client.

Gudrun Maydorn (X) Mar 9, 2009: präpontin = vor der Brücke des Hinterhirns liegend. Located in front of the pons cerebri. But I can't make the connection with the sternum.
