Deutsch term

abholer (advertising context)

Deutsch > Englisch Marketing Werbung/PR Advertising
(a) emotionale Headline als Einstieg
(b) informativer Text im Mittelteil
(c) atmosphärische Bildstrecke als Abholer

This is from a style guide for job advertisements. Can't think what to say for "Abholer" - if anyone has any suggestions (or explanations of the meaning), I'd be most grateful. Thanks, Ian

operator

Just guessing. Maybe is for being in a call center (abholen)
Peer comment(s):

disagree Steffen Walter : No, it's used in a figurative sense here.

tagline

as opposed to "headline". Something that is tagged on the end, e.g. "xyz is an equal opportunities employer". In this case maybe a graphic tagline?
Peer comment(s):

neutral Steffen Walter : I'm not sure whether you could use 'tagline' in conjunction with a 'Bildstrecke' (picture sequence) as indicated in the context field.

stimulus/incentive/impulse

delivery

They deliver the message by creating the atmosphere. The lead-in is the headline, throw in some information and then reel you in with the atmosphere of the picture/film.
