Deutsch term
Wechselblendenprinzip
Deutsch > Englisch
Technik
Architektur
Building surveying
Context:
"Für die Auswertung müssen die Aufnahmen des Stereobildpaares den Augen des Operateurs getrennt zugeführt werden, damit die gleiche Situation wie beim natürlichen Sehen vorliegt.
Die Bildtrennung kann optisch erfolgen mit Stereoskopen oder – bei digitalen Aufnahmen heute meist üblich – mit Shutter-Brillen nach dem Wechselblendenprinzip."
I know the principle, but can't find the correct technical term inthe context of stereo photogrammetry. I am guessing at something like "alternating shutter principle", but can't find anything to confirm this.
* Sentence or paragraph where the term occurs: See above
* Document type: Book
* Target audience: Surveyors/architects
* Country and dialect (source): German
* Country and dialect (target): British English

This might be the "active shutter" principle
Not my area of expertise, but I was curious ;-)

Discussion

“Anaglyph images are used to provide a stereoscopic 3D effect, when viewed with glasses where the two lenses are different (usually chromatically opposite) colors, such as red and cyan. Images are made up of two color layers, superimposed, but offset with respect to each other to produce a depth effect“
“When viewed through the 'color coded' 'anaglyph glasses', they reveal an integrated stereoscopic image.“

So, maybe “anaglyphs principle“, but would need to google more I guess
(I was just curious)
I googled “shutter“, “aperture“ “focal length“, all terms for “Blende“.
