Discussion
"Beziffern" in German means to estimate or to calculate an amount. The link above gives the following example: "Der Schaden wurde auf 5000 EUR beziffert". This is from the Duden. "Nachbeziffern" then means to recalculate or reestimate the amount of the damage. It never means "renumber". "Nachbezifferung der Rechtsbegehren 20 and 21" means "to recalculate the amounts claimed under points 20 and 21 of the law suit".
