My focus areas include both criminal and non-criminal law and I have in-depth knowledge of the legal systems of the Netherlands, Germany, and of the Common-law legal systems of England (and its former colonies). I have in-depth expertise in the methods of comparative law and a deep understanding of the law of the Netherlands, Germany, England and Wales, Scotland, and the United States.

The legal texts I translate include articles, contracts, instruments, annual reports, expert opinions, patents, witness statements, court transcripts.

As a specialised financial translator, I offer expert translations of critical documents such as financial reports and financial prospectuses.

Registration

I am a sworn translator and registered in the Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators (RBTV, in Dutch) with number 4945. This register is compiled by the Bureau of Sworn Interpreters and Translators. Registration is subject to quality and integrity requirements as well as additional periodic training.
