Priority is given to the translation of terms from English into Turkish with brief explanations. English terms are followed by Turkish equivalents so far present
A draft of this work is presented on April 2006 for an internal review in the institute and on May 2006 for the opinion of people out of the institute. 1st and 2nd drafts of Turkish version are revised by Assoc. Prof. Nilgün N. Kubilay.

Gerçekten iyi bir sözlük, Nizam. Konunun uzmanlarından biri olarak senden de onay aldıysa, içim daha rahat. Hem kuru kuru Türkçe karşılıklarla yetinmeyip konuyu bilen biri tarafından her şey güzelce açıklanmış. Bu sözlük dün benim hayatımı kurtardı. Umarım başkalarının da işine yarar.

Her sonbaharda lüfer hazretlerinin yokluğunu fısat bilip birkaç hafta için onun tahtına oturan sultan palamut (bonito), ve İzmirli dostlarımızın oralarda lüfer olmadığı için kral ilan ettikleri çupra (sea bream) yok bu sözlükte.
Ama yine de hem derleyenin hem haberdar edenin ellerine sağlık.
Bu eleştiri tamamen duygusal, ama lüfer olmasaydı sözlükte işte o zaman ağır konuşurdum.

Bu sözlüğü ben de bir süredir kullanıyorum. GlossPost'a nasıl olsa birisi yazmıştır diye düşünmüştüm. Güzel olan sözlüğün sürekli güncellenmesi. Faruk Bey sözlük yazarı ile irtibat kurarsa eminim adı geçen mahlukat da sözlükte hemen yerini alır.
