Dear members,

The 2015 mid-year membership campaign is over, but I don't want to miss the chance of saying 'thank you' to those of you who just joined as members during the campaign and those who have been investing in their business through ProZ.com membership for some time now. Your membership investment is what allows ProZ.com to deliver on its mission daily and what has made it the leading translation workplace. Thank you!

Now, no matter if you just joined or if you are a long-standing member, make sure you know how to get the most out of your membership investment.

  • Complete your profile with relevant and accurate information --or if your profile is complete, go back to it and try to see it with potential clients' eyes. Would you assign a project to yourself based on your profile information?
  • Specialize and show your specialization through the fields you report, in the "About me" section, through sample translations and through other profile information.
  • Earn KudoZ PRO points in your top language pairs and fields of expertise. Remember that the ProZ.com directory of translators is the main source of jobs and that results in there are ordered by membership status first and then by the number of KudoZ PRO points you've earned in a given field+pair combination.
  • Apply for inclusion into the Certified PRO Network and distinguish yourself as a professional at ProZ.com and elsewhere on the web.

    While all these strategies sound simple, it may take you some time to apply them. No worries. What matters is that you get started and that you contact site staff at any time if you need help.
